Do you want to contribute to an equal world where the rights of LGBTQI individuals are respected? Do you have a commitment to norm criticism and social justice? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

RFSL Education AB is seeking a trainer and process leader who wants to contribute to positive change through education and workshops for companies, organizations, and the public sector. We work to increase knowledge about LGBTQI rights, equality, and inclusion.

Your role with us

As a trainer and process leader at RFSL Education, you will strengthen organizations' knowledge of inclusion and LGBTQI competence. Through short training courses, LGBTQI certification processes, interactive workshops, and consulting assignments, you will support our clients in creating more inclusive workplaces.

You will have overall responsibility for the training processes you lead – from the first customer contact and needs analysis to planning, implementation, and follow-up. The role requires both strategic thinking and practical execution to tailor the efforts according to the clients' needs.

You will be part of an engaged team consisting of trainers and process leaders, development and quality managers, and marketing managers. You will report to the team leader for the education operations and the company's CEO.

You will work with:
  • Conducting training for various client groups, both large and small, digitally and physically, in Swedish and English.
  • Adapting and developing RFSL's training concepts based on clients' needs and operational conditions.
  • Acting as a consultant when needed.
  • Leading change work in a pedagogical and solution-oriented manner with various types of clients, in Swedish and English.
  • Contributing to the quality and business development of the organization, including continuous improvement of RFSL's services from a customer perspective.

About you

You are pedagogical and inclusive, creating a safe environment where people dare to express their ideas. You lead training and processes that effectively engage different target groups and understand how norms affect work environments.

As an initiative-driven person, you drive processes and ensure that goals are met. You collaborate smoothly with others and enjoy working independently and taking responsibility.

In a flexible and dynamic organization, you identify opportunities for collaboration and upselling with a business-oriented approach. You build trust, motivate others, and communicate clearly in front of both small and large groups. If you are also a skilled educator who can lead discussions even in challenging situations, we see great potential for you in this role.

We expect you to support RFSL's fundamental principles (https://www.rfsl.se/om-oss/organisation/rfsls-vision-uppdrag-och-grundprinciper/).

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

  • Experience in educating and lecturing on norm criticism and power analysis for groups in the public sector, business, or similar.
  • The ability to create and adapt training programs and concepts according to different clients' needs.
  • Experience in independently leading and driving change processes.
  • Good knowledge of diversity and inclusion work.
  • Knowledge of norm-critical perspectives and methods as well as intersectional analysis.
  • Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Relevant academic education in areas such as pedagogy, gender studies, or sociology.

Preferred experiences:

  • Experience in the non-profit sector or project management.
  • Documented experience in lecturing and leading workshops on norm-critical perspectives.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Discrimination Act, especially the grounds for discrimination.
  • Experience in developing pedagogical materials.
  • Knowledge of LGBTQI issues related to the elderly, especially their living conditions and needs in elderly care.
  • Language skills beyond Swedish and English.

Employment conditions:

  • Employment rate: Full-time
  • Location: RFSL's headquarters in central Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work. Business trips are included.
  • Start: June/July, by agreement, for the best possible onboarding ahead of the autumn peak season.
Our offer

At RFSL Education AB, you will be part of a growing and engaged team where flexibility, professionalism, and personal responsibility are highly valued. We are an employer that prioritizes our employees' well-being and development, and we offer:

  • A meaningful and stimulating job in a dynamic environment.
  • Pension plan, parental pay, and other collective agreement benefits.
  • The opportunity to influence both your tasks and how we develop our operations.
  • The chance to contribute to human rights and democratic values in a time when this is more important than ever.
